HE IS ALWAYS WITH YOU

The Word

Hebrews 13:5b

For He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!

The Message

Have you ever felt lonely and alone, despite being surrounded by many people? Life can happen to make you feel you’re all by yourself. How do you explain the feeling that hit you when a decision you took went wrong? What about when you pray for a turnaround in a situation for so long and it still ends up bad- a sick loved one dies after months of praying. Or your husband of many years decides he wants more from life than you. Or you get a new job and find your boss can’t stand your guts and eventually throws you out into the cold. I could go on and on. Some of the scenes are personal experiences, so I know the feeling of being all alone with nowhere to turn to.

I don’t know where you are as you read this, but I was hit with one of those situations not too long ago when I woke up with this scripture playing so loud in my head. I got out of bed more confident than I went into bed the night before. Hope was restored simply because my reality hit me. He is always with me, no matter what my circumstances say.

So, if you’re feeling all alone remember what the Lord says to you. He will not in any way fail you, give up on you or leave you without support. He is very emphatic and repeats Himself again and again-He will not, He will not, He will not leave you helpless nor forsake you. He has a tight hold on you, even when it feels like He’s nowhere to be found. The enemy plays on our emotions to make us feel alone. He is a liar. The Lord is always right in the middle of your situation. He will remain there till it is resolved. That is who He is –all faithful and committed to your well being. He has invested too much in you to let you go. He is always with you. Tune into His spirit inside your heart and you’ll find Him to be the ever present and faithful one.
